Best Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookies

Okay, this title is not 100% accurate. Let me get this straight: these are not the best vegan chocolate chip cookies, these are the best chocolate chip cookies, no questions asked. Cookies that crumble in your mouth, whose chocolate melts gently on your tongue. Makes your mouth water just thinking of it, huh?

With no butter, all natural and healthy ingredients, these vegan cookies are definitely a must-try for everyone. What’s more, they’re super simple and easy to bake and they’ll be out of the oven in only 10-15 minutes! If you can make the best cookies without needing eggs or milk, why harm your fellow beings?

So, scroll away to see the recipe!

Being quite lazy in the kitchen, I keep my recipes simple and sweet with as few ingredients and steps as possible. This cookie recipe sure is no exception, so it's fit for any type of bakers out there

Oat Flour

If you don't have any at hand (as was my case), you can always make your own by throwing rolled oats into a food processor. You can also replace it with any other flour, though I would not use a strong-flavored flour like coconut or almond. Oat flour gives the cookies a nice consistency, and it's also a great source of fiber and protein.

Coconut Sugar

Coconut is less processed than other sugars, hence supplying you with way more nutrients. having It is high in potassium, calcium, and magnesium, and it doesn’t spike your blood sugar level as do other alternatives. In my case, sugar gives me painful bloating, but it takes way more coconut sugar intake to have this effect on me than white sugar or brown sugar.

Coconut Oil

You can totally switch this with the same amount of extra-virgin olive oil. I personally use coconut oil because I think it goes very well with cakes and sweets of any kind and I don't really like the taste of olive oil.

Chocolate Chips

I've seen people who are able to buy dark chocolate chips, but unfortunately they don't sell those here. So, all I do is get a dark chocolate bar and chop it up myself with a knife. Just make sure it's vegan and sugar-free (or not, depending on your liking)

Here's the incredibly complex procedure: mix all dry ingredients together until they're well combined, then pour in the liquids and mix mix mix! Lastly, add in the dark-chocolate chips and, guess what... mix! until you get the delicious-looking batter below.

Have I got your attention? If so,

Let's jump right into the oven:

*These cookies do grow a bit, so make sure not to make them too big, and don't line them too close to each other.

Enjoy, and don-t forget to share your lovely pics tagging @summermonkee !
